A New Year & New Beginnings!
A new year is always an exciting and nervous time of the year. We have high
hopes for a better year than the one that has past, but we also have concerns that things may get worse. We have seen some
joyous time and we have seen great suffering.
Which will we see
in the coming weeks and months? What will be the message that we leave to our children? Will it be one of hope or one
of pessimism? I hope that we as individuals and as the church will come to see the opportunities that God has placed
in our lives and see His will in them.
As we see these opportunities
we should realize that God has enlightened us to His will so we might have a wonderful experience in seeing these miracles
and wonders God performs through His people on a daily basis. So, as we look forward, ask yourself what do
you want to see for the future of your family and for your church? As you ask this, realize that we each have a strong
impact on which direction we each go in. The direction that our church goes in both good and bad is up to all of
us. Let's all make wise decisions and make sure we are succeeding in God's will for our church and our community.
ISAIAH 43:18-19
18) "forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
19) See, I am doing a new thing! now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in
the desert and streams in the wasteland
